Position Summary
Introduction
ASSMANG Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and dedicated individuals who would like to be part of this exciting mine and who would like to make use of this unique opportunity to grow and develop within the company to apply for the position at our Black Rock Mine Operations, situated 80km North-West of Kuruman in the Northern Cape. Successful candidate Conduct inspections and operate load and equipment.
Job description
Participate in change initiatives.
Complete documentation accurately and in full.
Propose ideas or practical improvements relevant to tasks. Participate in improvement initiatives.
Comply with disciplinary and behavioural rules and procedures. Ensure operating licences is renewed annually before expiry.
Comply with safety, health and environmental standards. Identify and report unsafe and hazardous situations in work area. Participate in safety meetings.
Comply with Quality standards and deliver in a manner that support and meet operational quality standards.
Contribute to team performance.
Operate a double / multi-class mobile load and haul equipment for which a Dover A rating is required. For a specific shift, operate the vehicle allocated by the shift supervisor in accordance with SOP’s. Conduct inspections on production vehicles and report deviations via the vehicle pre- and post-start checklist. Maintain equipment performance during operation and report deviations. Fill equipment with diesel. Perform housekeeping on vehicles in accordance with SOP’s.
Minimum requirements
Certificate: Grade 12
Valid Driver’s License Code B/EB

1 Year Mining Operations Experience
1 Year Equipment Operations Experience in a Mining Environment - Articulated Dump Truck and Front – End Loader
