Position Summary
Introduction
ASSMANG Pty Ltd requires the services of a Stack Quality Controller at their Black Rock Mine Operations situated 80km North-West of Kuruman in the Northern Cape Main Task and Responsibilities Assist with identifying stacks of different grades for blending control and loading purposes. Minimum Qualifications Certificate: Grade 12 Valid driver’s license Code B Experience and Requirements 2 Years Stack control / Sampling / Quality control support in the mining environment 1 Year Supervisory experience

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver’s licence Code
Control and assess Quality Management within scope of work to ensure standard adherences.
Assist and check stacks, allocate floor area and numbers to new production stack.
Assist in specialist projects and agreed services assigned and delivered, such as assisting to take
samples and customer samples, adhoc sampling for metallurgical balances and or online analysers
calibrations.
Comply with safety, health and environmental standards. Identify and report unsafe and hazardous
situations in work area. Participate in safety meetings.
Comply with Quality standards and deliver in a manner that support and meet operational quality
standards.
Contribute to team performance.
Comply with disciplinary and behavioural rules and procedures.
Propose ideas or practical improvements relevant to tasks. Participate in improvement initiatives
