Position Summary
Introduction
ASSMANG Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and dedicated individuals who would like to be part of this exciting mine and who would like to make use of this unique opportunity to grow and develop within the company to apply for the position at our Black Rock Mine Operations, situated 80km North-West of Kuruman in the Northern Cape. Responsible for all BRMO investigations and associated internal audits.
Job description
Review Security Procedures, documents and forms as required and on time.
Ensure compliance with SLA on site
Report any non-conformances and raise client complaints
Ensure SSP conform to Contract Management requirements
Oversee Security Contract on site and ensure compliance of Security Service Provider (SSP) with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and site-specific security requirements.
Issue security orders and instructions to guard force on site (aligned with Procedural requirements, requests and change management
Obtain, check and refine information. Collate and submit reports. Run data exception reports and take corrective action. Conduct document control spot-checks. Apply and demonstrate the values of BRMO in a work environment
Enforce the principles of corporate governance and ethics in the workplace
Conduct Plan Task Observations and take appropriate action to ensure compliance
Identify recurring problems and derive creative solutions involving team members or using own vocational knowledge and experience.
Ensure compliance with Legal and BRMO requirements
Provide input into sub-functional planning. Plan team activities.
Resolve problems as they are encountered to ensure achievement against plan.
Ensure operational plan is implemented.
Conduct all general crime, specialized commercial crime, and substance abuse and procedure non-compliance investigations without any other investigator assistance or administrative assistant.
Visit crime scenes after hours and on weekends to take statements, compile case dockets and collect preliminary evidence.
Conduct all Ethics / Whistle Blowers investigations and compile high level feedback reports for Executive Management;
Conduct related internal Sectional Audits with focus on prevention and corrective actions.
Management and interpretation of intelligence received from external service providers and source own informers;
represent the company in internal investigations
Coordinate associated surveillance duties;
Prepare disciplinary case dockets, recommend appropriate charges.
Liaise with SAPS to foster a mutually beneficial relationship;
Act as Manager Asset Protection in his absence;
Attend to non-related tasks as requested by Management.
Provide relevant support to applicable stakeholders to ensure achievement of objectives.
Minimum requirements
• National Diploma: Policing or Criminal Justice or Security Management.
• Certificate Psira Grade A.
• Drivers License Code EB.
• 5 Years General Crime, Commercial Crime and Disciplinary Investigations Experience of which 2 Years in a Mining Industry.
