ASSMANG Pty Ltd requires the services of a Chargehand Electrician at their Black Rock Mine Operations situated 80km North-West of Kuruman in the Northern Cape
Job description
MAIN TASK AND RESPONSIBILITY
Assist in coordinating all electrical maintenance and installation work on surface / underground. Conduct and oversee
the installations, modifications and tests of electrical equipment and wiring

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Computer literacy - Microsoft Office, JDE, Qlikview, Oracle
Perform asset care activities as required to EAMS system including accurate and timeous feedback and documentation
to all stakeholders.
Assist with the coordination of daily inspection checklists for tools, equipment and work areas.

Report problems and make recommendations to GES.

Ensure to get a schedule of all breakdowns on a daily basis.
Ensure planning on job cards are executed daily in regards with weekly maintenance planning

Minimum requirements
- Certificate: Grade 12 (Required)
Certificate: Trade Test Electrician (Required)
Certificate: N3 Engineering Studies (Required)
Driver’s license: Code B/EB (Required)
Dover B symbol (Required)
Experience and Requirements
- 3 Years relevant post apprenticeship Electrician in heavy Industrial, mining or plant
environment - 1 Year supervisory experience
