Position Summary
Introduction
ASSMANG Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and dedicated individuals who would like to be part of this exciting mine and who would like to make use of this unique opportunity to grow and develop within the company to apply for the position at our Black Rock Mine Operations, situated 80km North-West of Kuruman in the Northern Cape.To ensure that the maintenance of the offset areas and outsourced contracts for the following services are executed as per the agreed scope of work and contractor service level agreements:
Job description
• Participate in change initiatives and provide feedback on resistance.
• Propose ideas or practical improvements relevant to tasks.
• Ensure to get a schedule of all maintenance on a daily basis.
• To ensure that the contractor manage and operate the following club facilities and associated buildings according to the service level agreement in order to provide recreational facilities and entertainment to BRMO employees thereby enhancing the wellbeing of the community at Black Rock.
• To ensure that the contractor manage and operate the licensed bar services at Black Rock in selling liquor to the public according to the service level agreement and the legal requirements of the Liquor License Board.
• To ensure that the contractor renders hygienically clean facilities.
• To ensure that the contractor managing and operate the laundry services at selected sites at Black Rock, Gloria and Nchwaning II and Nchwaning III according to the servicer level agreement.
• To ensure that the contractor collects, remove and dump domestic, garden and hazardous waste at Black Rock mines, villages and other facilities at Black Rock according to the scope of work and service level agreement, complying with law and the standards set by the mining operations.
• To ensure that the contractor manages the SACCO/SIMOTOMO entertainment centre and library at the buildings adjacent to the Black Rock Main Club according to the service level agreement.
• To ensure that the contractor maintains the sports fields, gardens and parks at Black Rock Village, Santoy, Schoonspruit village and other Mining areas according to the service level agreement
• To ensure that the contractor provides accommodation and other services to the guests, according to the service level agreement.
• Ensure orders are generated for any reported breakdowns or maintenance.
Minimum requirements
• Certificate: Trade Test.
• Dover B Symbol.
• Valid Driver’s Licence Code B/EB
• 6 Years Supervisory or Foreman Experience.
