Junior Maintenance Planner
Position Summary
Introduction
ASSMANG Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and dedicated individuals who would like to be part of this exciting mine and who would like to make use of this unique opportunity to grow and develop within the company to apply for the position at our Black Rock Mine Operations, situated 80km North-West of Kuruman in the Northern Cape.To plan, schedule and monitor the activities of the Enterprise Asset Management System to achieve operational targets in a cost effective manner.
Job description
• Obtain information, check for accuracy and capture data. File documents per procedure.
• Propose ideas or practical improvements relevant to tasks. Participate in improvement initiatives.
• Comply with disciplinary and behavioural rules and procedures.
• Participate in planning process for section. Execute plans within standard.
• Key Functional Areas: Asset Management, Establish Maintenance Capability, Ensure Financial Resources for Maintenance Planning, Maintain Assets, Post Maintenance, Post Repair, Provide Feedback to Business Plan, Maintenance Plan and Maintenance Governance, Governance and Compliance, Optimise the Maintenance Capability, Data and Information Management.
• Critical Decisions: Classification of asset/equipment, Petroman and Key Control Required, Is Maintenance Program Development Required, Asset/Equipment under Warranty/Service Agreement, Gain attestation on the Maintenance Plan, Ensure completeness of the set of conditions and scenarios considered in the Maintenance Plan, Classify Rotable/Repairable Item as Capital/Non-Capital, Determine if repair item is Rotable.
• Meetings/Stakeholder Interactions: Daily Maintenance Engineering Reporting, Engineer BRMO Connect Meeting, Shaft BRMO Connect Meeting, Maintenance Planning Meeting, Ad-hoc Adjudication Meeting, Standardisation Meeting, Shaft Mine Plan Planning Meeting, OEM Meeting.
• Dependencies on other Organisational Areas: Stores, GES, OEM, Engineer.
• Support and Administrative Functions: Personnel Management, Subordinate Career Development, Information Management.
• Financial Participation: Annual Departmental Budget, Contribute to Mine’s Financial Budget, Monthly/Quarterly/Annual CAR, Capital and Replacement Capital.
Minimum requirements
• Trade Test with Minimum of N3.
• 1 Year Work Planning and Control Experience in a Mining Maintenance Environment.
